Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the EquityBridge website or booking our services. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. Website Usage Terms

1.1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the EquityBridge website ("the Website"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not use the Website.

1.2 Website Access

We strive to ensure that the Website is available 24 hours a day. However, we will not be liable if, for any reason, the Website is unavailable at any time or for any period. Access to the Website may be suspended temporarily without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance, or repair, or for reasons beyond our control.

1.3 User Account

To access certain features of the Website, you may be required to register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your password, and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

1.4 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the Website:

2. Booking and Services

2.1 Booking Process

When you make a booking with EquityBridge, you enter into a binding contract with us. A booking is confirmed once we have received your deposit or full payment and issued a confirmation invoice. Before completing a booking, please check all details are correct as amendments may not be possible later or may incur charges.

2.2 Pricing and Payment

All prices displayed on the Website are subject to change. We reserve the right to modify prices at any time before your booking is confirmed.

Payment terms:

  • A deposit (typically 20% of the total tour cost) is required at the time of booking
  • Full payment is due 60 days prior to departure
  • For bookings made within 60 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking
  • Payment can be made by credit/debit card, bank transfer, or other methods specified during the booking process

2.3 Travel Documentation

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have valid travel documentation, including but not limited to:

  • Passports (valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date)
  • Visas
  • Immunization certificates
  • Travel insurance documentation

EquityBridge is not liable for any issues arising from inadequate travel documentation.

2.4 Special Requirements

If you have any special requirements (dietary, medical, or otherwise), please inform us at the time of booking. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate special requirements, but cannot guarantee that all requests can be met.

3. User Responsibilities and Conduct

3.1 Accurate Information

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information when making a booking. This includes, but is not limited to, correctly spelling names as they appear on passports, providing accurate contact information, and disclosing any medical conditions or special requirements that may affect your ability to participate in the tour.

3.2 Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, and personal liability. It is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate insurance coverage for your travel plans.

3.3 Behavior During Tours

When participating in our tours, you agree to:

  • Comply with the laws and regulations of the countries you visit
  • Respect local customs, traditions, and practices
  • Follow the instructions and guidance of tour leaders and local guides
  • Treat other travelers, staff, and locals with respect and courtesy
  • Not engage in any illegal, dangerous, or disruptive behavior

We reserve the right to terminate your participation in a tour if your behavior is deemed to be detrimental to the enjoyment of other travelers or if it endangers yourself or others. In such cases, no refund will be provided.

4. Limitation of Liability

4.1 Website Content

The content on our Website is provided for general information only. While we make reasonable efforts to keep the information up-to-date and correct, we make no representations, warranties, or guarantees, whether express or implied, that the content on our Website is accurate, complete, or up-to-date.

4.2 Third-Party Services

Our tours may include services provided by third parties, such as accommodation, transportation, activities, and guides. While we select these providers with care, we cannot be held responsible for their actions or omissions. Any claim for loss, damage, injury, or death arising from the actions or omissions of these third-party providers should be directed to the providers themselves.

4.3 Force Majeure

We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from any cause that is beyond our reasonable control. Such causes include, but are not limited to: natural disasters, adverse weather conditions, fire, flood, epidemic, pandemic, strikes, civil disturbances, terrorism, war, governmental actions, or other similar events.

4.4 Limitation of Damages

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EquityBridge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the Website or our services
  • Any changes which we may make to the Website or our services
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Website or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to EquityBridge for the applicable service giving rise to the claim.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Ownership

The Website and all content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof) are owned by EquityBridge, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

5.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Website for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

5.3 Restrictions

You must not:

  • Modify copies of any materials from the Website
  • Use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences, or any graphics separately from the accompanying text
  • Delete or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices from copies of materials from the Website

6. Website Rules and Behavior

6.1 User Contributions

  • Be likely to deceive any person
  • Promote any illegal activity, or advocate, promote, or assist any unlawful act
  • Impersonate any person, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organization
  • Involve commercial activities or sales, such as contests, sweepstakes, and other sales promotions, barter, or advertising

6.3 Monitoring and Enforcement

We have the right to:

  • Remove or refuse to post any User Contributions for any or no reason
  • Take any action with respect to any User Contribution that we deem necessary or appropriate
  • Disclose your identity or other information about you to any third party who claims that material posted by you violates their rights
  • Take appropriate legal action, including without limitation, referral to law enforcement, for any illegal or unauthorized use of the Website
  • Terminate or suspend your access to all or part of the Website for any violation of these Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of the page. It is your responsibility to check these Terms and Conditions periodically for changes.
